Cullberg Erland

Cullberg is considered to be one of the finest representatives of Swedish contemporary fine arts. Cullberg’s works can be described as coloristic, expressive and intense existential expressionism. He has been given the nick name ”Overpainter”. In a highly pshycological process he works his way through the ideas and perspectives in a continuous dialogue with the canvas. Time after time he paints over a previous layer of color.

Was born and lives:
1931, Uppsala, Sweden, now living in Sollentuna, a suburb to Stockholm, Sweden.
